What was an Old God's daily life like?
Asanos could give an exact answer to that question.
Most of the time, It slept.
Even when It occasionally awakened, It basically spent the time staring blankly into space.
The universe was far too silent. Only one world with life remained. Once, when It awakened, It displayed a little of Its power there, and mortals established a church in Its name.
Asanos taught them how to communicate with It, and this became a source of amusement during Its long, tedious life.
Mortals paid a price to summon Its descent, and It revealed a little power to resolve the problems they encountered.

Only weak, insignificant mortals with fleeting lifespans cared so deeply about the passage of time.
Nebulae swirled, spiral arms surged, forming a body measured on an astronomical scale. Endless lightning churned in its central region, taking the shape of an eyeball.
Asanos recalled something that had happened not long ago.
It sensed the summons of Its believers and was preparing
