Dawn always came especially early in the Month of Midsummer.
The morning wind still carried the chill of the night. Breakfast stalls on both sides of the street had opened early, wisps of mist drifting like clouds before quickly dispersing, leaving behind only the enticing scent of food.
Yao Ziyue stopped in front of Yuan Gui's Shop and bought breakfast.
She was the first to arrive.
"Will the boss be back today?" Bu Lige called out to her.
"I don't know." Yao Ziyue shrugged, took a bite of her breakfast, and narrowed her eyes in enjoyment. "Do you need something from the boss?"
She looked up at Bu Lige.
Bu Lige scratched her head. "No, I was just asking."
Yao Ziyue gave an oh, waved her hand casually, and turned to walk into the alley where Origin Mall was located.
Even though Origin Mall had grown to its current scale, the alley before it had not changed in the slightest. Whenever the store opened or closed, it was always packed with people.
It could be considered one of Origin Mall's distinctive features.
Footsteps echoed through the alley, and a thin layer of dew had gathered on the smooth stone slabs.
Yao Ziyue arrived at Origin Mall's entrance, opened the door, and instinctively sniffed. A delighted expression appeared on her face.
She smelled food.
It definitely had not been prepared by Elina, so there was only one possibility left.
She ran toward the second floor.
"Big sister!"
"I'm busy. Go play by yourself."
"So cold-hearted."
Yao Ziyue clutched her chest, her face full of hurt.
"Stop fooling around." Yao Ziyan found it amusing. "Didn't I come back a few days ago? I didn't see you being this enthusiastic then. Even if you really missed me, couldn't you just go to Hearthstone
