Compared to the entire continent, the traces of civilization were truly insignificant.
Looking down upon the land from high above, endless verdant green stretched to the horizon. Dotted amid the rolling mountain ranges were specks of brownish radiance—the cities built by intelligent civilizations.
Just how vast was Tianlan Continent?
Perhaps no one knew the answer.

"I'm going to climb a bit higher," Anviya's voice sounded. "Being this low isn't very good. It could easily cause some unnecessary trouble."
"Hm?" Yao Ziyan was curious.
"It's easy for people to mistake me for some powerful god. I remember one ancestor who swaggered through the sky, then returned a few centuries later only to find herself worshipped as a totem by countless nations. And to prove who possessed the true inheritance of that totem, those nations nearly beat each other's dog brains out."
"Um..."
Yao Ziyan did not know what to say about that.
A dragon's life truly was rich and colorful, in ways ordinary people could never even imagine.
As they spoke, they continued rising until they passed through the thick cloud layer. Countless translucent creatures seemed to flicker through it.
They laughed and played around the Golden Dragon, apparently curious why this enormous fellow had suddenly barged into their world.
"These are Wind Element Elves. Sometimes, they cross the barriers between realms and sneak into the mortal world."
Anviya did not forget to explain things to the other two.
Frost said nothing. Her crystal-like crimson eyes quietly gazed outside, revealing none of her thoughts.
