The evil whispers of the Lord of Hell echoed through the minds of Ang'grath and the other Chaos beings, gradually breaking down their will.
They could barely endure it any longer. Their faith was slowly collapsing.
These Greater Daemons of Khorne had already lost the Blood God's trust. They were not even qualified to guard the Skull Throne and had been stationed in regions far from the Brass Hall.
When they thought of their pitifully low divine favor and the risks they would face against Ka'bandha, they began to hesitate.
"Blood God!
We should not have been treated like this, nor should we have fallen to such a state—"
Ang'grath muttered.
The Lord of Hell's whispers had corrupted this second-ranking Greater Daemon of Khorne, stripping him of the courage to continue fighting Ka'bandha.
He felt betrayed. After giving everything, all he received was that meager bit of divine favor. It was not worth risking his life against the first Hell Warrior for it.
The contrast was simply too stark.
They Greater Daemons of Khorne did the same things as Ka'bandha and the Hell Warriors, yet their treatment was worlds apart. It was utterly unacceptable. They felt it was not worth it.
It was not just Ang'grath. The other Greater Daemons of Khorne present shared similar thoughts.
For a moment, the momentum on this side of the Brass Walls stalled. Even the Daemons of Khorne who had been trying to surround Ka'bandha could not help taking a step back.
They had all realized it.
They only earned a few hundred a month, with so little divine favor. Why should they risk their lives against the strongest Daemon? How foolish was that?

Even Ka'bandha, the strongest Greater Daemon in
