The sky above the vast garden was still covered by dense, buzzing swarms of flies. The air reeked of decay and was thick with yellow-green fumes.
It was Paradise for pestilence.
Rotting Swamps, muddy forests, and plague lakes covered the land. They were blanketed in decayed, twisted branches, tangled vines, and thick mold, while foul bubbles constantly rose and burst.
Occasionally, fountains made of rotten bones would even erupt from the earth.
"Ah, what foul, filthy land!
"It should belong forever to the Favorites of Pestilence, not be replaced by those fragrant humans and that fresh, verdant, nauseating land!"
Ku'gath, Nurgle's First Favorite, gazed at the decaying land and could not help muttering, his voice somewhat hoarse.
The Plague Favorites had once rolled about in mud pits. Nurglings played harsh, rhythmless music without pause, while rotten flies joined in. Even if it was noisy, it had been so delightful.
But now, the Nurglings no longer played. The Plague Favorites were listless, lacking even the enthusiasm to brew Plague Soup, and their former laughter and merriment were gone.
Paradise was so quiet and oppressive, its atmosphere dispirited, devoid of its former bustle.
That was because the foul toxic fog of the Garden of Nurgle had gradually thinned, and the rot was dwindling. In some places, uncontaminated green grass had even sprouted, brimming with natural vitality.
This was a change the Plague Favorites could not accept. The natural environment made them feel miserable all over, leaving them weak and dispirited.
The rift created by The Savior had contaminated the Garden of Nurgle, completely tearing apart this Paradise and ruining its environment.
