The treasure vault was right before him. If it had been occupied by a Greater Daemon, how heartbreaking would that be?

Ron clenched his heart and activated his spiritual perception to scan the entire Space Hulk.

This was his advantage. With control over Little Sun, he possessed godlike power.

Fortunately, this Space Hulk had not been occupied by some terrifying entity.

There were only some Chaos Monsters inside the Space Hulk, Void Remnants scattered throughout, and a small group of more dangerous Chaos Pirates.

Fortunately, this Space Hulk was enormous, nearly half the size of Luna.

He could be cautious and spend a lifetime without ever running into them.

This meant Ron could explore this treasure trove to his heart's content without taking too much risk!

Ron controlled his spiritual perception and explored the Space Hulk bit by bit. He wanted to find an STC capable of producing powerful weapons, or ancient holy relics.

That would rapidly increase his combat strength, allowing him to fight his way out of the Upper Hive and reclaim the entire Hive City.

Once he reclaimed the Hive City, he would have food, energy, and population. It would be a dream start!

As his spiritual perception searched onward, Ron saw a Void-Born village hidden within a mountain of wreckage.

These remnants were tall and powerfully built, dressed in crude clothing and surviving on fungal colonies growing in the wreckage.

The remnants formed teams to gather fungi from the outer wreckage, but they had terrible luck and encountered a horde of Chaos Monsters.

"What a pity..."

Ron thought they were doomed. Faced with so many Chaos Monsters, even an elite Astra Militarum squad would struggle to deal with them.

Yet those Void Remnants won unexpectedly.

Their bodies were incredibly powerful. Wielding thick alloy spears, they faced the encircling Chaos Monsters head-on.

Before long, they had eliminated every Chaos Monster.

Even when injured, the remnant warriors remained full of energy.

They happily carried the Chaos Monster corpses back, apparently intending to hold some sort of sacrificial ritual.

They were all natural-born warriors.

How wonderful it would be if he had a chance to bring them under his command!

The problem was that Ron was currently only a Psyker Power consciousness, almost incapable of communicating directly with these people.

He marked the village and planned to return to recruit these remnant warriors once he had the ability.

Even if Ron could teleport here in the flesh right now, he would not survive long. The Chaos Monsters would tear him apart immediately.

Ron's spiritual perception passed beyond the remnant village and continued searching for places that might contain lost technology. Unfortunately, nearly all such places were occupied by Chaos Monsters.

After that, he found a relatively intact section of hull. It appeared to be the residential district of a massive warship, with much valuable technology left behind.

This section of hull had become a Chaos Pirate den.

The Chaos Pirates were filthy and misshapen to varying degrees. Some even had Void fungi rooted in their bodies.

They used wet, slimy tentacles to curl bottles of liquor into their mouths, spilling drink as they guzzled and cursed.

"Come drink, you animals! The finest Amasec!"

"Idiot, Rotgut is the best!"

"Gretchin, you're courting death!"

The Chaos Pirates quickly began brawling, stopping only when one side collapsed in a bloody heap, unable to move again.

Their minds had been corrupted by the Warp. Rather than people, they were more like beasts wearing human skin.

Ships landed and took off from the pirate den's Spaceport. Chaos Pirates staggered off the vessels with their spoils and joined the revelry.

Ron even saw Chaos Pirates carrying down a Sister of Silence. He had no idea which unlucky Imperium vessel had been raided by these bastards.

Ron moved closer to investigate. After all, he would eventually have to face these people, and knowing himself and his enemy was essential.

Such an excellent treasure vault naturally had to be kept for himself.

Leaving it to Chaos Pirates who only knew how to drink and raid would be an outrageous waste!

"Who's there?!"

The moment he approached, he was discovered.

It was a red-haired female pirate leader. She had fair skin and a voluptuous, alluring figure, yet not a trace of mutation.

The red-haired pirate sat upon a throne in the wreckage hall, looking toward where Ron's spiritual perception was located.

"No way, she could detect me too?" Ron froze for a moment.

Sizzle!

The red-haired pirate raised her Melta Gun and fired in his direction.

"Ha, luckily I'm in a Psyker Power state. I don't have a body at all."

Ron felt somewhat relieved. Since this mature redhead could not harm him, he could remain and properly investigate the situation here.

"I found you. Get out here!"

The red-haired pirate seemed unwilling to let it go. She floated up, her eyes glowing red as though she were probing for something.

A Gamma Level Psyker!

An intense sense of danger washed over him. At that moment, Ron had only one thought: Run!

He swiftly controlled his spiritual perception to pass through layers of metal wreckage, fleeing far from the section of hull.

Unable to find anyone, the red-haired pirate lay back sideways in her throne, resting her chin on one hand as she said listlessly, "Sigh, I thought something interesting was going to happen..."

Her name was Kaelina, one of the Imperium's most wanted criminals. Her crimes were blaspheming the God-Emperor and betraying the Imperium.

Tsk. Kaelina was still indignant.

She had merely killed a few of the Imperium's lapdog officials on Holy Terra. Was that really enough to alarm the High Lords into ordering a manhunt for her?

They had even dispatched an Adeptus Astartes squad and several Inquisitors!

Luckily, she had run fast enough. Otherwise, she would have been dead for sure.

To evade pursuit, she had hidden in this godforsaken place for a long time.

As for how long?

Sorry, there was no concept of time or space in the Warp, only endless Chaos.

"I really wish a handsome guy would fall from the sky for me to play with..."

Kaelina could not help sighing, her ample breasts bouncing.

She swept her gaze over the ugly Chaos Pirates fighting one another, growing increasingly irritated.

Boom!

A shockwave exploded amid the crowd, blasting the Chaos Pirates away in all directions.

"What are you making so much noise for? Get the hell away from me!" Kaelina snapped, a powerful Psyker Power pressure radiating outward.

The Chaos Pirates scrambled to their feet and bowed before their queen.

At this moment, Ron's spiritual perception was still flying.

That mature redhead was not someone to provoke. He needed to get farther away—the farther, the better.

After all, a Gamma Level Psyker could not be judged by common standards. She might be able to inflict a fatal blow upon him even in his Psyker Power consciousness state.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh...

What was that sound?

Ron realized he had entered a strange place.

Before him stretched lush green rice paddies as far as the horizon. A gentle breeze passed through them, stirring emerald waves.

Small streams ran between the fields, their waters babbling softly as unknown little fish swam about within them.

For a moment, he felt as though he had returned to the fields of his hometown, and the tension in his heart gradually eased.

But Ron's illusion was quickly shattered, because he saw a robot in the fields—a metal robot covered in rivets.

Humming a little tune, it carried a rusty water tank on its back and diligently sprayed pesticide over the rice plants.

The metal robot suddenly sensed something. It turned toward the gate, barely able to suppress the excitement in its electronic voice.

"Welcome to Green Wave Farm, my master!"
