Rogal Dorn's expression was grave. He had fought Horus before, and he knew full well how powerful the other man was.

During the Siege of Terra ten thousand years ago, the rebel army that man led had already pressed the Imperial defenders until they could barely breathe.

Now that he had returned in an even more powerful form, he was bound to stir up a bloodbath on Holy Terra.

No Imperial commander believed Chaos's offensive amounted to only this much. The current attacks were nothing more than an appetizer.

Under such circumstances, the inaction of Horus and the Chaos Gods instead made them even more vigilant and worried.

Dorn could feel the heavy atmosphere in the hall.

The commanders were all somewhat anxious, waiting for Chaos's true attack.

Even more, they feared they would fail to hold the Steel Great Wall's defensive line and disappoint the expectations of His Majesty the Savior and the Emperor of Mankind.
