This proved that the Necrontyr were slowly adapting to cultural revival, as well as a new mode of survival.
Many Necrontyr who had retained their consciousness gradually returned to their original professions, rather than treating themselves as pure killing machines.

The only difference was that they had gained emotions, and could obtain pleasure and a sense of meaning from this kind of performance.
