The Tomb Fleets of the Necrons were not the only ones fighting. Humans, Eldar, Orks, Tyranids, and many other species had joined the fray.

They fought around the camps of the Silent King and the Stormlord, and even attacked one another, turning the war into a sprawling melee.

But there was no doubt that the Necrons, who dominated this war zone, took the most attacks and suffered the most damage.

That was because Ron had done more than summon his own armies. Through careful maneuvering, he had drawn in the forces of other Xenos and Heresies as well.

The Steel-Teeth Ork Empire, for instance, had gone around picking fights and set this war zone as the meeting place.

Big Steel-Tooth told the other Ork Empires that there was a very Waaagh war here.

Only the strongest, fiercest Orks could survive here and become the most Waaagh of all.

Chaotic, excited roars filled the starry void. A million rusted iron warships, covered in rivets and graffiti, surged from The Void without the slightest formation and rapidly filled the space.

These ships had no elegant prows or orderly armor. They were crooked, their gun barrels crude, and some even had the half-devoured wrecks of enemy ships hanging from them. Yet they looked terrifying enough to take anyone's breath away.

Their engines roared and belched thick smoke, causing massive pollution in space.
