"Blood God, what in the world is happening?" Under the radiance of the holy light, the Greater Daemon of Khorne felt his skin sting despite himself, and a trace of fear rose within him.
He realized the situation was turning bad, especially when the wails of Chaos Daemons came from the distance. The unease in his heart reached its peak.
It was an ominous premonition, the kind that came before some disaster, and now and then he could even sense a trace of deathly stillness.
In short, something terrible had happened—and it was something unfavorable to beings of Chaos. Yet he still did not know what exactly had occurred.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
The roar of some kind of engine grew even stronger.
Soon, the Greater Daemon of Khorne sensed an even deeper threat. The feeling that he had been locked onto grew stronger and stronger.
He looked up.
Several human fighters hovered in midair, trailing tail flames as they came this way. They were extremely fast, reaching sub-light speed.
Those human fighters were different from any the daemons had encountered before. Their exteriors were covered in a crystalline, translucent layer of Blackstone Armor, and force fields could faintly be seen coiling around them.
Even more threatening was that inside the bomb bays beneath every Blackstone Fighter were deadly weapons meant to strike marked targets.
Targets such as certain threatening Greater Daemons or high-ranking Chaos beings.
"Shoot them down.
No matter what method you use, you must shoot down these filthy human creations. They are attempting a shameful sneak bombing attack!"
After the Greater Daemon of Khorne found the source of the threat, he immediately issued orders for the Chaos Daemons to attack all the incoming Blackstone Fighters.
