The Golden Gourd Mountain Range was steep and rugged, composed of several hundred peaks of varying sizes. Seen from high above, it resembled an enormous golden gourd, hence its name.
Golden Gourd Valley lay in the northwestern corner of the Golden Gourd Mountain Range. Shops stood in dense rows throughout the valley, while the streets teemed with people and traffic, bustling beyond measure.
Chen's General Store was located in the northwestern corner of Golden Gourd Valley. It primarily purchased Refining Materials, and its business was rather slow, with few customers.
Its proprietor, Chen Guang, was a Gray-robed Elder past fifty, with a mustache.
A fair-faced Green-Shirted Youth passed by the entrance with a voluptuous young woman in a red skirt in his arms. Her peach-blossom eyes were glistening and seductive enough to steal one's soul. The thin gauze draped over her body could not conceal her lush figure, leaving much to the imagination.
"Daoist Zheng, good morning!"
Chen Guang greeted the Green-Shirted Youth with a smile. The young man merely nodded in response.
The proprietors of several nearby shops also greeted the Green-Shirted Youth. Clearly, he was no ordinary person.
"No wonder the Zheng Family has declined. It isn't without reason. And this is even Golden Gourd Immortal's direct descendant—never mind the rest of the Zheng Family."
Chen Guang sighed.
The Green-Shirted Youth was named Zheng Yinghao, born into the Zheng Family of Green Rhino Mountain. The Zheng Family was a newly risen Immortal Cultivation Family and one of the many subordinate cultivation families of the Nine Serenities Sect.
The Zheng Family had originally been an utterly insignificant minor family. One clansman who had joined the Nine Serenities Sect had luckily advanced to the Core Formation Stage, taking the Daoist title Golden Gourd Immortal.
