A vast, boundless stretch of emerald mountains spread out below. A deafening roar came from high above, and a massive blaze of Crimson Flame flared in the sky, extremely conspicuous.
Two streaks of golden light flew out from it. They were Luo Xiao and Sang Yu, both covered in dirt, with burn marks across their bodies. They looked rather disheveled.

A thunderous roar rang out and reached their ears.
Upon hearing it, Luo Xiao and Sang Yu were horrified, as though they had encountered something terrifying.
The void trembled and twisted. Countless Crimson Fireballs appeared high in the sky, each as large as a small mountain. There were more than ten thousand of them, their momentum terrifying.
More than ten thousand Crimson Fireballs tore through the void like meteors, shooting straight toward Luo Xiao and Sang Yu.
Luo Xiao formed a Hand Seal, producing a sharp, ear-piercing sound. A golden, hazy Sound Wave erupted from him and met the attack head-on.
The Crimson Fireballs collided with the Golden Sound Wave like eggs striking rocks, and every last one of them disintegrated.
Luo Xiao and Sang Yu beat their wings wildly without stopping and sped into the distance.
A thick pillar of Crimson Flame swept over, breaking through the Golden Sound Wave. The powerful shock wave tore the surrounding void apart.
A streak of red light appeared on the distant horizon. Not long afterward, it fell to the ground and smashed out a huge crater. It was a gigantic toad covered entirely in red scales. The enormous toad had three Golden Eyes, and judging by its aura, it was astonishingly a Seventh Order Upper-Grade Demon Beast.
"Where do you think you're running? Just let me eat you obediently."
