A hidden underground cave had uneven stone walls. A large hole had been broken open in the ceiling, allowing a little sunlight to drift in and land right on the Nine-Bend Exquisite Fruit tree, which bore twelve fruits.
A gigantic Golden Giant Ape lay beneath the tree with its eyes tightly shut. After a while, it opened its eyes, stood up, plucked a fruit, and began to eat.
A burly red-shirted youth flew in. A pair of iron wings flickering with red light grew from his back. His gaze was dull, and he looked nothing like a normal person.
The moment the red-shirted youth appeared, the Golden Giant Ape opened its eyes. A ray of golden light shot from each eye, heading straight for the red-shirted youth.
A dazzling red light lit up in the red-shirted youth's eyes, and two rays of red light shot out to meet them.
A thunderous boom rang out, and the red light and golden light annihilated each other.
A sound split the air. A gleaming golden giant fist shot over and struck the red-shirted youth, producing a muffled thud, as though it had hit an iron fortress.
The red-shirted youth was sent flying backward and crashed into the stone wall, causing a large amount of rubble to tumble down.
The red-shirted youth opened his mouth and spewed a thick Crimson Flame, striking the Golden Giant Ape. The Golden Giant Ape was swallowed by rolling flames and let out an enraged roar.
After a dazzling golden light flared, the flames flickered violently and went out. The Golden Giant Ape was left covered in soot, with much of its fur burned away.
The red iron wings on the red-shirted youth's back gave a light flap, and he flew away. The Golden Giant Ape chased after him.
