The bald man and the other adventurers exchanged evasive looks and began to stammer.
"Kill them all." Ms. Anna suddenly said. Yet she showed no intention of acting. She even sheathed her Magic Greatsword, folded her arms, and stood by to watch.
Colin and the others froze for a moment, then charged forward without hesitation.
"Please spare us, milady." The adventurers' expressions changed. The bald man swallowed hard and begged with difficulty.
"Kill!!!" Colin and the others showed them no mercy. Though it was Colin's first time killing someone, now that he had come here, he had prepared himself for it.
With a roar, Colin formed a three-pronged formation with Lyon Brown and Michael Harris. Like tigers descending a mountain, the three rushed the adventurers first, followed closely by the other six team members.
Colin faced the bald man. His face was filled with despair now that he understood his fate, but as an experienced adventurer, he still possessed the viciousness to make one last desperate counterattack.
"Kill!!!" The bald man roared. The muscles all over his body bulged as he slashed the strange curved blade in his hand toward Colin's right ribs at a tricky angle.
The angle of the strike was excellent, but to Colin, its speed and power were as slow as a snail's. Colin moved first, thrusting his sword into the bald man's throat. The massive Two-handed Greatsword instantly severed the man's head, and blood gushed from his neck, splashing down over Colin.
The unprecedented stench, along with the act of slaughtering his own kind, made Colin nauseous. He nearly threw up on the spot.
Damn it. I read so many webnovels in my previous life, and so many protagonists felt nothing when they killed for the first time. It was all fake. Colin cursed inwardly.
