Background
After the early deaths of her parents, Linda became the eldest caretaker of the Russell household. She and Smith worked to support Colin's education at Will Knight Academy, hoping that he could restore the declining family's dignity and security. Her attachment to Colin is explicitly maternal as well as sisterly; she had effectively raised him herself. 16 23
Linda initially worked as a house tutor for Baron Lacy's eldest son, Lis Lacy. The position paid poorly, and her efforts to educate him were fruitless. During this period, she managed the Russell household frugally, cooked for her siblings, and treated even a bottle of Veil red wine—worth more than her monthly salary—as an alarming extravagance. 25
As Colin's position improved, Linda left the Lacy household and no longer needed to maintain the family through tutoring. She became an increasingly visible noblewoman in Will City, attending tea parties and balls, building a large social circle, and organizing the ball celebrating Colin's investiture as Viscount Will Russell. 46 71 75
During Will City's crisis with the Evil God cultists, Linda accepted physical training and attempted to learn swordsmanship so she would not be helpless in an emergency. Though she lacked martial talent, she persisted out of concern for Colin and Smith. 80 89
Linda later accompanied Colin, Mrs. Brown, and Aisha on the journey toward Dark City. There, she and Mrs. Brown established a business dealing in potions and magic items, using Linda's social aptitude to develop clients and connections. Their enterprise expanded from Kent Territory into a major trade network spanning Dark City, Ironfrost City, the Nature Forest, the Empire's north, and the seas. 179 189 341 528
Appearance
Linda is a tall, attractive Van Gogh noblewoman with golden hair and a notably strong, shapely build. Her presentation shifts easily between aristocratic elegance, practical travel clothing, and merchant attire. 25 66 75 154 457
- Wore a blue veiled hat, black blazer, knee-length pencil skirt, and red high heels while working for Baron Lacy. 25
- Appeared as the central hostess at Colin's viscountcy ball in a red evening gown and black crystal high-heeled sandals. 75

Personality
Linda is fiercely protective of her brothers and deeply invested in restoring the Russell family. She is proud of Colin's achievements, concerned for Smith's safety, and readily assumes the role of the family member who worries, scolds, and celebrates most openly. 16 71 89
Her early frugality comes from necessity and noble pride rather than stinginess. She objects to Colin's expensive purchases but also insists that he honor his teacher's generosity and avoid bringing shame to the Russell name. 25
Although initially unsure of her own future, Linda becomes highly capable in noble social circles and business. She remains boisterous and informal at home, but she can maintain aristocratic composure under pressure—even when confronted by ten Legendary figures seeking Colin. 75 341 457
Linda also has a persistent interest in arranging her siblings' love lives, frequently teasing Colin about potential romantic partners and urging both Colin and Smith to marry. 5 11 373 494 528
