Amid the rising and falling screams, Lin Yu pulled the stunned Nojiko into his arms and smiled into her ear.

"R-Really?"

Nojiko turned to look at Lin Yu, a hint of longing in her eyes.

If she could become as strong as Reiju, then she would be able to protect Nami.

Instead of being protected by Nami like before.

In the past, she had always hated herself for being unable to offer Nami even the slightest help, for having to rely on Nami just to live peacefully.

Listening to the screams echoing through the base, Mouse Lieutenant anxiously stuffed all the money from his safe into a backpack.

But rather than go out and organize resistance, he had rushed straight to his office, intending to flee with the money.

Seeing Mouse Lieutenant unable to move, Lin Yu handed Nojiko a pistol.

Reiju, Anna, and Charloss also turned to look at Nojiko.

When Mouse Lieutenant saw Lin Yu's face, his eyes widened and his entire body trembled.

He had recognized Lin Yu as the God Slayer. Knowing that the man was a vicious monster who even dared to kill World Nobles—the Celestial Dragons—he knew that falling into his hands meant certain death.

He simply could not understand why the man had come from the North Sea to the East Blue, or why he had come to trouble an insignificant nobody like him.

Regret filled his heart. He felt that he should have fled immediately instead of wasting time on that money.

Nojiko accepted the pistol from Lin Yu with a pale face and aimed it at Mouse Lieutenant with trembling hands.

Bell-mère, I can help avenge you now too.

Nojiko pursed her lips as tears streamed from her eyes.

She thought of what had happened to Bell-mère, of the one hundred million Berries Nami had been robbed of, and of all the suffering the people of Cocoyasi Village had endured over the years.

Nojiko wiped away her tears. A fierce glint flashed through her eyes as she pulled the trigger.

Several gunshots rang out, and Mouse Lieutenant's head was blasted into pieces.

Nojiko dropped the pistol, trembling as she crouched on the floor, her face deathly pale.

Lin Yu came to her side and lifted her into his arms. He said to the three women:

"Find his treasure and bring it aboard."

With that, Lin Yu left with Nojiko.

"Should we kill the people outside too?"

Anna, her maid dress splattered with blood, walked to the window. Looking at the Bearded Petty Officer and the others in the distance, she licked her lips.

She had now experienced the thrill of killing.

"Young Master said not to touch them."

Charloss shook her head and began searching the room to see whether any other treasures were hidden away.

"Fine. I don't want Young Master to dislike me."

Anna shrugged boredly, then crouched beside Mouse Lieutenant's corpse and sorted out the money in his backpack that had not been stained with blood.

Reiju stood by the window, looking over the Marine Base littered with corpses, and yawned boredly.

She was a fighter. She had no interest in cleaning up the battlefield.

More than ten minutes later, Reiju, Anna, and Charloss emerged from the Marine Branch base, each carrying a large backpack.

Watching the three leave, the Bearded Petty Officer led several survivors into the base and ordered his men to wash the blood from the ground.

He entered the office, picked up a Den Den Mushi, and reported Lin Yu's appearance and attack on the East Blue's 16th Branch, as well as Mouse Lieutenant's crimes, to his superiors.

Lin Yu came to the deck and saw Reiju and the other two, who had just returned.

Looking at the huge pile of treasure and money Reiju, Anna, and Charloss had stacked on the deck, Lin Yu raised a brow.

Then Lin Yu turned his gaze toward Anna, Charloss, and Reiju.

Lin Yu narrowed his eyes. Several ship ropes dropped down and bound the three women.
