Teasing the Dark Gold Bear

In the forest behind the mountain.

"Yun Xi, it's so big in here. Do you want to come out and take a look?" Xun'er looked around at the forest, where dense leaves blocked out all but a sliver of sunlight, and spoke somewhat timidly.

Hearing the fear in Xun'er's voice, Yun Xi chuckled. "Haha, so even the little princess of the Gu Clan gets scared. How rare."

Indeed, ever since they had met, Yun Xi had never seen Xun'er frightened. Instead, he had most often seen her smile sweetly, snicker, and laugh in all sorts of ways.

At that, Xun'er immediately puffed out her cheeks. "Stupid Yun Xi! I'm not scared. I just wanted you to come out and see how beautiful the scenery in this forest is."

"Alright, alright, I'll come out and have a look." Yun Xi's figure appeared beside Xun'er. He floated around and looked in every direction before saying, "Mm, not bad. Look at these trees, look at this sky, look at these mountains... Mm, pitch-black..."

One person and one soul walked through the dark forest for around ten minutes before finally reaching the first location Yun Xi had marked.

"It's right ahead. See that? That plant behind the Magical Beast is definitely something good." Yun Xi gently parted the grass before them, pointed at the Magical Beast resting not far away, and spoke softly to Xun'er.

"Yun Xi, I don't think I can beat it..." Xun'er's little face turned bitter. With her Six-Star Peak strength, the outcome of facing a Third Order Magical Beast like the Dark Gold Bear head-on was obvious.

"I don't care what you think. I think you can." As he spoke, Yun Xi flicked his hand. A boulder the size of a head flew out from nearby and smashed heavily into the head of the Dark Gold Bear lying in the distance, right before Xun'er's astonished eyes.

"Roar!!!"

Having been struck for no reason, the Dark Gold Bear raised its head and roared angrily. Its enormous five-meter-tall body slowly rose, and its vicious eyes revealed its fury. Its body was covered in dark golden fur, displaying its formidable defense. At that moment, it glared fiercely at Xun'er in the grass.

"Yun Xi!" Seeing Yun Xi slip back into her body after attacking, Xun'er could not help snapping angrily, "I really can't beat it! You deal with it yourself!"

"This bear is so smart. No, I have to get down." Before her words had even faded, Xun'er fell from the branch. Seeing this, the giant bear immediately opened its blood-filled maw, intending to swallow Xun'er whole.

Yet things did not go as it expected. The instant Xun'er landed, intense golden light coiled around both her hands. She then struck downward with both palms, her palm technique instantly slamming into the Dark Gold Bear's face below. The resulting recoil sent Xun'er flying upward before she landed steadily on the ground.

"Roar!!!"

Not only had its attack failed, but it had also been forcibly struck in the face. The Dark Gold Bear grew enraged and swung an arm thicker than a tree branch in a punch, smashing directly into the large tree beside Xun'er. The tree, so wide that several people could barely encircle it, toppled with a crash.

"Guardian Eight Trigrams Palm!" Having leaped behind it and dodged the Dark Gold Bear's fatal blow, Xun'er instantly unleashed her Dou Skill, intending to hit it with a chain of palms.

"Bang! Bang!"
