As the Snow Devil Sky Ape's massive fist drew closer and closer, Xun'er let out a startled cry.

However, the outcome she had expected did not occur. The Snow Devil Sky Ape's menacing punch did not strike her.

"Thud..."

Hearing the sound, Xun'er looked up and saw the Snow Devil Sky Ape's enormous body crash to the ground. That fierce punch had merely been an instinctive reaction as it was about to fall.

"Damn it!" the Snow Devil Sky Ape roared furiously, then climbed back up. Icy energy enveloped it as it charged once more at the Fire Devouring Giant Rhino in the distance, whose aura soared into the heavens.

"Phew~~~~~" Seeing this, Xun'er let out a long sigh. What had just happened had truly frightened her badly. After taking a moment to recover, she headed toward the cave again.
