In the Desert Dimension, Might Guy shattered his Golden Core and unleashed the Eight Inner Gates Formation, finally injuring Otsutsuki Shenxu with a barrage of Evening Elephant strikes.

• Otsutsuki Ya Cang tore Liuyun apart with his Dojutsu, but Otsutsuki Yuchen rewound time to before Liuyun used Eternal Night.
• Liuyun taunted Otsutsuki Ya Cang, escaped his next spatial attack with Eternal Day, and charged him while the Dojutsu left Ya Cang mentally injured.
• Otsutsuki Shenxu overwhelmed the expeditionary force, leaving Hidan, Black Dragon, Nanao, Minato, Sasuke, Might Guy, and Kaguya Otsutsuki battered or incapacitated.
