"Were they going their separate ways?"
At Erik's words, everyone present felt a weight settle in their hearts.
Companions who had fought side by side, brothers who had helped one another—had they really reached the point of parting ways?
"Humans will still attack mutants."
"Fight to protect mutants!"
Those words resonated with many of them. The barrage of shells earlier had already proven humanity's attitude toward mutants.
"Count me in!"
Red Devil rose to his feet and walked over to Erik's side.
"Me too!"
Whirlwind flipped to his feet and headed toward Erik.
"And me!"
Dragonfly spread her wings and flew to Erik's side.
"I don't know which of you is right! But... I'm Black. I've had enough of discrimination."
Darwin hesitated for a moment, but ultimately stepped forward and walked toward Erik.
"I think... protecting mutants is more important than protecting humans. After all, we're the minority."
Sonic Wave also walked over to Erik's side.
"Raven, I know what you want. Go with Erik! That's where you belong."
Charles was also confused, unsure whether his convictions were right. Perhaps Erik could forge a different path as well.
"You know what I want?"
Raven smiled and shook her head. "I don't want to concern myself with any of this anymore. Whether it's living peacefully with humans or fighting them, neither is what I want."
With that, Raven turned to Li Yu. "Sargeras, it's been a long time since I drank the wine at your place. I want to stay at Sargeras Manor for a while. You won't drive me away, will you?"
"Uh?"
Li Yu froze. Mystique was not going with Magneto?
"Fine. As long as you don't steal my Bordeaux, you can drink whatever else you want."
"Then it's settled!"
Raven got up and walked over to Li Yu.
