Through the Cerebro amplifier, Charles connected to Apocalypse and spoke with him.

When Apocalypse discovered that Charles had connected to his mind, he froze for a moment before bursting into delighted laughter. "Thank you! Thank you! Your power is very useful! You've been a tremendous help!"
