Bai Xing expanded his power by empowering Sato and Nagai Kei, while consolidating control over the Takahashi and Yamaguchi syndicates. After Nagai failed to stop Sato’s attack on the ministry, Bai Xing trained with an electric chair as Sato’s violence fueled growing anti-Ajin unrest.

• Bai Xing ate the Electromagnetic Fruit, discovered its powers, and planted a Fruit Core in Sato to gain his Ajin abilities and combat knowledge.
• Bai Xing helped Takahashi Hitomi take control of the Takahashi Syndicate, killed traitorous executive Yanagihara Masayuki, and negotiated for resources to pursue his plans.
• Bai Xing developed Current Drive by drawing nourishment from Sato’s experiments, then used electrical stimulation to make Takahashi Hitomi absolutely devoted to him.
• Bai Xing manipulated Yamaguchi Kazuo into ending his campaign against the Takahashi Syndicate, then offered Nagai Kei a Magnetic Field Seed so he could stop Sato.
• Bai Xing planted a Fruit Core in Nagai Kei, who awakened magnetic powers and rushed to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare to stop Sato’s threatened attack.
• Nagai Kei diverted Sato’s passenger jet from the ministry, but it crashed nearby and caused civilian casualties, and Sato killed the SAT members and escaped while Nagai was captured.
• Bai Xing learned that Nagai Kei had apparently escaped the research institute and that anti-Ajin unrest had led to innocent people being mistaken for Ajin and killed.
• Bai Xing trained with an electric chair, created Rapid Bullet Fist, and learned that Sato had bombed the ministry and killed nearly everyone on his assassination list.

Nagai Kei and Shimomura Izumi tried to stop Sato from taking Tokyo, while Bai Xing pursued his own conflict with him. Sato released AJVX across the city and declared Tokyo an Ajin Special Autonomous Region, drawing Bai Xing into a final confrontation.

• Nagai Kei escaped the research facility and returned to Mountain Granny, then accepted Tozaki Yuu’s offer to help stop Sato after Sato threatened Eriko.
• Sato and Nagai fought at Enoki General Hospital, and Sato’s Torrent Phenomenon devastated SAT before he escaped.
• Bai Xing destroyed Yokota Base, while Sato killed Prime Minister Abe Tetsuya and attacked the Crisis Management Center.
• Sato killed Tozaki Yuu and overwhelmed Nagai, but Bai Xing fought him and the US Military before Sato regenerated inside Anzai Kuranosuke.
• Shimomura Izumi recruited Nagai into the Anti-Ajin Special Task Force as Sato stole AJVX and announced his plan to claim Tokyo for the Ajin.
• Nagai and Shimomura tried to stop Sato from releasing the toxin, but Sato broke the vial and spread AJVX across Tokyo, killing residents and trapping Tanaka Kouji and the others in repeated cycles of death and revival.
• Bai Xing shielded Takahashi Hitomi from the gas, while Nagai reached 250,000 volts and went to Sakura Medical Center to protect Eriko.
• Sato broadcast a call for surviving Ajin to join him and declared Tokyo an Ajin Special Autonomous Region, then Bai Xing arrived and challenged him.

Bai Xing and Sato’s escalating conflict culminated in a nuclear strike on Tokyo, while Nagai Kei’s search for Eriko drove him across America and back to Japan. After discovering Nagai Ritsu’s body, Nagai’s power surged as Sato’s sealed Magnetic Force began to break through.

• Bai Xing defeated Sato in Mida Mountain Park, while Nagai reached Sakura Medical Center and found Eriko poisoned and Mountain Granny dead.
• After Bai Xing destroyed Sato again, Nagai’s grief triggered a rampage that devastated Tokyo before he was captured by the US military.
• The US military used Nagai to attack a rebel base, and Nagai killed its residents before demanding a video call with Eriko.
• Sato controlled President Donald Golden into authorizing a nuclear strike on Tokyo, and Bai Xing survived the blast by creating Nuclear Explosion Fist.
• Bai Xing defeated Sato and sealed his Magnetic Force, while Nagai crossed the Pacific and attacked Los Angeles in search of Eriko.
• General Null offered Nagai Eriko’s return in exchange for Sato, and Nagai agreed before demanding that Japan hand Sato over.
• Nagai’s attempt to force the Japanese government to reveal Sato’s location left Choshi City in ruins, and he found Nagai Ritsu dead beneath rubble in Sosa City.
• Bai Xing sensed that Sato and another person had reached Magnetic Field Rotation, while the Void Ancient Tree’s recovering branch promised him a way to another world.

After defeating Sato and Nagai, Bai Xing traveled to another world, where he pursued the Life Fruit and Adamantium while drawing the X-Men and the Brotherhood into conflict. The arc left Viper fighting the Brotherhood at a waterworks as Logan and Colossus arrived.

• Sato defeated Nagai after their prolonged battle, then persuaded him to join forces against Bai Xing and helped him attack American military leaders in search of Eriko.
• Bai Xing survived Sato and Nagai’s nuclear attacks, defeated them, absorbed their seeds and insights, and reached 120,000 horsepower before traveling to another world.
• In Tokyo, Bai Xing used Life Fruit Cores to empower Nakamura Masayuki and Inagawa-kai fighters, then ordered Shimazu Katsutaro to focus on the gang’s war with its rivals.
• Bai Xing killed Mori Nobuo, gave Viper and Logan Life Fruit Cores, and took Logan to Yashida Ichiro’s stronghold, where Logan killed Ichiro and Bai Xing claimed the Silver Samurai Armor.
• Bai Xing joined Xavier’s School, negotiated to borrow Hank for his Training Room, and began teaching the young Mutants breathing and meditation techniques.
• Viper poisoned Yokohama’s water supply and fought off Magneto’s recruitment attempt, while Magneto later joined forces with the White Queen, Sabretooth, and Juggernaut to confront her at Tokyo’s waterworks.
• The White Queen broke through Viper’s mental defenses as Logan and Colossus arrived at the waterworks, and Viper struck Logan and sent him flying.
