Carlos landed on the rocking coffin boat with a backflip and smiled. "I'm Lucifer Carlos, captain of the Divine Eye Pirates. May I ask your name, sir?"
"Juraquille Mihawk, merely a wandering swordsman." Hawk Eyes Mihawk spoke in a deep voice. After speaking, his sharp amber eyes glanced at Carlos's unusual eyes before shifting away. His instincts told him those eyes were dangerous.
"My crewmates and I greatly admire your strength, Sir Mihawk. I would like to invite you aboard my pirate ship, the Dark Moon, as a guest."
"When we have free time, we can exchange insights aboard the ship or find a deserted island to spar on. What do you think, Sir Mihawk?" Carlos asked with an amused curl of his lips.
"Since Captain Carlos has invited me so sincerely, how could I refuse?" Hawk Eyes replied in a deep voice, showing almost no hesitation and fully displaying his confidence and composure.
"What spirit!" Carlos praised. With a thought, Conqueror's Haki erupted from his brow like a massive wave crashing toward Hawk Eyes Mihawk.
"Hmm?" Hawk Eyes raised an eyebrow. The Conqueror's Haki dormant within him seemed to sense the provocation and instantly burst forth in retaliation.
The two waves of Conqueror's Haki clashed fiercely at close range. Black-and-crimson lightning filled the sky, while powerful shockwaves spread in circular ripples in every direction. Even the sea breeze and waves calmed considerably.
Conqueror's Haki was extremely rare in the One Piece world. The reason people had seen it so often was because the audience usually watched the most outstanding figures in that world, their perspective spanning the entire world.
If one truly came to this world, it would be difficult to encounter Conqueror's Haki without meeting those who had already awakened it.
Hawk Eyes' origins were a mystery, but
