The morning passed quickly. The Divine Eye Pirates gathered once more. Hawk Eyes Mihawk did not leave, since he still wanted to spar with the Divine Eye Pirates' crewmates, and continued following them.
After everyone assembled, Carlos did not say much. Everyone had their privacy, and he would not pry into his crewmates' secrets. As long as they returned safely, that was enough.
"Let's go. We're heading to the other side of Jaya Island to find someone."
After saying that, Carlos raised a foot and left. The others hurried after him, departing Mock Town beneath the reverent gazes of countless Pirates.
Once they left Mock Town, everyone immediately picked up speed and headed toward the Monkey Mountain Alliance's base on the opposite side of Mock Town. An hour later, they reached the shore across from the town.
Carlos and the others had no intention of concealing themselves, so the Monkey Mountain Alliance quickly spotted them. One after another, they rushed out to block their path.
"Stop! Who are you?" A tall, powerfully built man who looked like an ape leaped forward and shouted.
Carlos stopped, and the others stopped as well.
"I'm here to find Cricket," Carlos said flatly.
"What do you want with our captain?" Hearing that Carlos had come to find someone, the ape-like man's hostility lessened somewhat.
"I want to ask him about Sky Island and the Golden City." Carlos did not hide anything and stated his purpose directly.
"You believe Sky Island and the Golden City are real?" The ape-like man's eyes lit up as he spoke in a deep voice. His hostility vanished, and he waved for his subordinates to put away their weapons.
"Of course. Otherwise, why would I come looking for Cricket?" Carlos rolled his eyes impatiently.
"Hahaha... That's true. Wait here. The
