Having found Enel, Carlos moved and rushed toward where Enel was. Within a few breaths, Carlos arrived before the dilapidated house where Enel lived. He pushed open the broken gate, which let out an unpleasant creak, and walked inside.
Enel, who was cooking dinner, heard the movement at the entrance. Thinking it was the group of children who often bullied him coming to cause trouble again, a fierce look flashed across his face before he impassively picked up a wooden stick lying nearby and stood up, looking toward the shabby, filthy yard.
Soon, a tall figure appeared in the yard. Enel thought it was the parent of some child coming to punish him, and panic rose in his heart. However, he quickly calmed down and gripped the wooden stick in his hand even tighter.
Such scenes were not uncommon for Enel; only the location differed. When he was bullied too badly, he would always fight back and injure some children his age. Not long afterward, adults would come seeking revenge and vent their anger for their children.
However, today was different. The tall figure in the yard did not come inside immediately, but merely stood there. Using the firelight, Enel raised his gaze and met a pair of crimson eyes. Before he could make out what those eyes looked like, he knew nothing more and collapsed to the ground.
After knocking Enel unconscious, Carlos entered the house. In his hand was a Devil Fruit, one of the two Devil Fruits he had obtained in the Magnet Guard Kingdom. Sholmer had already eaten the Mushroom-Mushroom Fruit, while this remaining Devil Fruit was the Ox-Ox Fruit, Bison Model!
Although this Devil Fruit was far less powerful than the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, it would still be greatly beneficial to Enel in his current state.
