Half an hour later, Carlos followed Momousagi to his residence. Not bad—an independent villa covering seven or eight mu at a glance. Vice Admiral treatment.

It did not quite match his stature, but he was not a Marine after all, so he would make do.

Carlos was not some country bumpkin. His residence in the West Sea was larger than this one, though this place was more refined and luxurious.

Momousagi's residence was not far from his, with only two villas between them.

After bringing Carlos inside and showing him around, Momousagi left. The villa was well-equipped, both in terms of facilities and staff. If he was lazy, there were people to handle practically everything for him.

After staying inside for a while, Carlos ignored Momousagi's warnings, changed clothes, and went out to wander around.

This was the area where Marine Vice Admirals lived, but most of the villas were currently empty. The Marines were busy, each with their own assignments.

Carlos planned to visit Momousagi's home and see what was different about a beautiful woman's house...

When Momousagi saw Carlos standing outside her door, her expression immediately darkened. Sure enough, he had not obediently listened to her. The moment she turned around, he had gone wandering—and all the way to her doorstep.

Now that he was already at the door, Momousagi could not very well shut Carlos out. Besides, it would be useless. If he truly wanted to come in, no wall, however high, could stop him.

Upon entering the villa, Carlos found that it was filled with flowers and plants. The scents of blossoms and grass mingled together into a wonderfully pleasant fragrance.
