Asura Path Pain led the landing operation from the front, while Carlos, the captain, followed close behind with the core crewmates. The ordinary crewmates trailed at the rear.

There was no other way to arrange it. Though the Dark Moon was large, the number of people it could carry was limited. After three battles, they had suffered considerable losses. If he sent them charging at the front this time, he probably would not have enough subordinates left to control Sun Moon Island after the battle.

After crossing a small forest, the Divine Eye Pirates entered a boundless grassland. The sky was high and the clouds pale, the grass lush and verdant, a sight that lifted the spirits—if not for the spectacle of ten thousand wolves charging across the plains.

Awooo!

Wolf howls rose and fell. More than ten thousand black wolves, each at least the size of a calf, charged toward the Divine Eye Pirates.

The foremost three thousand were giant wolves larger than cattle, each carrying an elite pirate from the Sirius Pirates. They were all burly men clad in black leather armor, their faces cold and their eyes filled with excitement and savagery.

At the front rode a man atop a colossal black wolf as tall as a three-story building. He was short and stocky, his body packed with knotted muscles. He wore heavy black armor, and half his face was covered by a black wolf-head tattoo, making him look especially vicious. He gripped two gleaming scimitars, his eyes bloodshot with bloodthirst and madness.

The charge of ten thousand wolves from the Sirius Pirates was indeed imposing. In an ordinary world, such a sight would naturally make people collapse in terror. But in a world like One Piece, where individual strength was so overwhelming, it was nothing much.
