Above Sun Moon Island, the Flood Dragon Kaido had arrived in the blink of an eye. The clear sky immediately darkened, lightning slithered through the clouds, and the atmosphere became oppressive.
Beneath the dim sky, a spatial vortex appeared, and Carlos emerged behind Kaido. The instant he appeared, Kaido sensed Carlos's presence. His enormous dragon body twisted as he turned around, his massive dragon head fixing its gaze on Carlos.
"If you want to test my strength, follow me." Carlos spoke calmly. Kaido's aura caused him no pressure whatsoever. With that, Carlos moved, stepping through the air as he shot into the distance like lightning.
Naturally, Carlos could not fight Kaido on Sun Moon Island. If Kaido went mad, or if the two of them got carried away, Sun Moon Island might very well be destroyed. Wouldn't all his efforts have been for nothing then?
"Stop!" Two words burst from the giant mouth like exploding thunder. His dragon body undulated up and down as he rapidly gave chase.
Dragons were unlike snakes. Snakes generally moved by swaying from side to side, while dragons moved by undulating up and down.
Kaido's Flood Dragon form was incredibly fast. Riding the clouds and mist was far easier than Carlos's method of stepping on air, and he was even faster in midair. The distance between them rapidly shrank.
"Hahaha... I'm about to catch you!" Kaido laughed wildly and smugly.
Carlos's expression remained unchanged as he altered his method of movement. Spatial vortices continuously appeared, and he directly used Kamui to travel through space, easily widening the distance between himself and Kaido, leaving Kaido able to see only his distant back.
"Uh..."
Seeing this, Kaido quickly lost his smile. He muttered a few curses under his breath, then flew at full speed, trailing far behind
