Although they knew they had been discovered, the pirate force led by Martin did not stop. They were bound to fight eventually anyway. These primitives worshipped strength and followed the law of the jungle; unless they were beaten senseless, there would be no room for negotiation.
Half an hour later, in the dark primeval forest, across a dry riverbed, a large number of primitives clad in grass and animal hides stood before Martin's pirate force. They held poisoned arrows, blow darts, stone axes, clubs, and all manner of primitive weapons.
A dark-skinned primitive stepped forward and spoke loudly, rattling off a long string of incomprehensible words. But no matter how much he said, it was useless. Martin and the others could not understand a thing due to the language barrier, though they could roughly guess the meaning from the anger on their faces.
"Prepare to attack!" Martin ordered calmly, his expression cold.
Following Martin's order, all the pirates found positions and took out various firearms. Pistols, rifles, and rocket launchers were aimed at the other side. The primitives understood the meaning as well, each finding cover and hiding themselves.
"Attack!"
Martin formally gave the order. Gunfire and cannon fire immediately rang out, shattering the silence of the primeval forest and turning the entire area chaotic. Dense bullets mixed with shells flew toward the primitives. Leaves were punched through, bark exploded in every direction, and shells struck the ground, sending dirt flying and snapping trees apart. The fierce firepower dealt the primitives a crushing blow, and one after another, they fell.
Because of the difference in firepower and range, although the primitives had greater numbers, they were immediately put at a disadvantage. Their bows and blow darts simply did not have enough range. Only two things could threaten the Divine Eye
