His eyes swept across the surveillance devices that had nearly blended into the yellow sand. Red Laser Beams tore through the air, scattering in countless directions and accurately destroying every device.
By then, the research base had already descended into chaos. Everyone inside had spotted Carlos, and seeing that he had clearly come with ill intent, how could they not panic...
Just as Carlos was about to strike again, a dark green figure entered his sight. That distinctive cloak and the powerful aura around him let Carlos recognize the man's identity at once: the founder and leader of the Revolutionary Army, son of Marine hero Garp, and Luffy's father—Monkey D. Dragon!
Carlos felt his teeth ache. What a coincidence. He had run into him here? Even if he took Vegapunk away, someone would know Vegapunk was in his hands.
Silence him? It was worth trying!
If he failed, and Dragon leaked the news, then he would have to prepare for a battle with the World Government. Of course, he would not spare the Revolutionary Army either. He would surely deal them the cruelest possible blow!
If not for the terrible timing, Carlos would have been pleased to meet Dragon. Most of the powerful figures in this world whom he thought highly of had either fought him or crossed paths with him. Dragon was the sole exception.
