At 12 noon on January 14, 2022, a new Qidian Chinese Network writer named "San Jiang Ge" will publish his first novel "Ping-Pong Life".
The wheels of history begin to roll, hahaha!
Back to business.
In fact, my mentality when I came up with this pen name was very simple and crude. San Jiang Ge is San Jiang Pavilion. I wanted to be on the Sanjiang recommendation list.
Facts have proved that I thought too much, because I chose the most unpopular category "Sports" and the most unpopular subject "Table Tennis" in sports.
Before writing, I searched the website and found no table tennis-themed book. Then I asked my editor "Chao Shen de yy". He only listened to my beginning and told me directly, "If there is no future, I will fight and change the subject."
This is the objective judgment of the market by professional editors.
But I still want to give it a try. After all, newcomers can be more willful. After playing for so many years and watching so many games, even though they are still a rookie, they still have to have some feelings, right?
What's amazing is that when I insisted on writing 30,000 words and approached him again, he changed his mind after reading it and said, "Try it, maybe it can work?"
Is it surprising?
In fact, my editor has always believed that the quality of this book is acceptable, and when my data was bleak, he was also the source of most of my confidence. He told me that sometimes poor data does not mean that the book is not good, and it may really be a matter of subject matter.
"And your results in the new books in the sports section are not bad. It's just that the entire sports section is too cool, and you don't have any reader base."
This sentence did not increase my collection, but it made me feel better. I no longer browsed the author's backend 100 times a day, but calmed down and coded steadily.
Although this book should not be of any help to his performance, and it is not suitable for men to say too many pretentious words, I still have to thank my editor here because he read the book throughout the whole process and reminded me to revise it many times when I wrote inappropriate content. This is called "really teaching you how to write a book step by step."
Let's talk about something more practical.
At present, the total collection of this book is 3,000. I am ashamed that this number is not as good as the first order of others. Originally, I wanted to rush to Sanjiang, but 35 days of being on the list made me understand the principle of being down-to-earth, so it is better to put it on the shelves first. It is said that after the number of VIP words increases, there will be some exclusive recommendation spots for the works on the shelves.
I would like to say thank you to all colleagues who have written table tennis novels. Now I understand how difficult it is for you. When I look back and think about the delusions I had when I first started writing the book, I feel a little blushing.
Haha, that's too far off topic.
My initial thought is that after it is put on the shelves, the bottom line of two updates a day is unshakable. Regular updates at 8 a. m. and 5 p. m. are my basic base.
Then, there will be updates on the day it is released, tentatively scheduled for 6 updates, 1 chapter in the morning, 3 chapters at noon, and 2 chapters in the evening.
Regarding the relationship between monthly tickets and updates, since the data is not very good, the target is set low. How about adding 1 to 50 monthly tickets? (This data is tentative, because I don't have any feelings for Bishu. I can adjust it when the time comes. Anyway, I guarantee that it will be updated every month.)
Finally, about the alliance leader, I actually think that the alliance leader is very far away from me, but the editor said that no matter what, there must be a commitment. After all, the famous writer Giddens Ko once said: Only dreams that will be laughed at if you speak them have practical value.
Therefore, if there really is a leader, one leader will be worth 20,000 words.
I will try my best to code, but it will definitely not be clear within one day, so I have to pay in installments. After all, I am not a tentacle monster, and I am not proficient in various routines. The time I spend thinking about the plot every day is much greater than the time I spend coding.
So, in fact, the above-mentioned addition rules are not important. What is important is how much I can write. Write as much as you want, it's that simple.
Just because this is my first online serialization, everything is still being explored and learned. I don't know what my speed is, so I set a slightly broader rule first to prevent myself from being unable to do it.
Finally, please subscribe! Please subscribe! Please subscribe! Say important things three times!
Full booking is of course the best.
I would also be extremely grateful for the optional subscription.
And for those friends who feel that this book is not worth spending money on, or those who are short of money, I also ask you to help order the first chapter that is available on the shelves, can you?
Seeing as you have been fooling me for so long, use your few cents to make my first order data look a little better, please (clasp your fists).
After all, the only data I can look forward to now is the subscription ratio. Please give me a great subscription ratio and let me go to the signing group to compare it. Please, please.
I have to keep begging for recommendation votes and monthly passes, because I heard that if you get more votes, you can be on the category list. For me, any opportunity for exposure is very important.
At the end, let's talk about the plan for this book.
The book is expected to be about 1 million words. The overall outline idea was decided before writing the book. The protagonist will roughly go through the stages of "city team--Table Tennis First Division--national team selection--Table Tennis Super League& international competition--winning gold medals--sitting on the throne--being studied by everyone". Of course, the specific process will be complicated and will not be so simple and crude. If there are better ideas in the future, we do not rule out the possibility of modifying the outline.
So please feel free to read on, and don't worry about it dying midway, because what I pursue is to write a book that starts well and ends well, and give myself an explanation.
Let's stop here. It's the first time it's been put on the shelves. It's inevitable that it's a bit nagging and the words are confusing.
It's a little slow, but the attitude is sincere. Come in and sit down, readers.
