"Why can't I come?" The smile on Wang Chao's face came alive at that moment. "Gao Ming, didn't we agree last time? You'd let me know when you had a match, and I'd come cheer you on in person... but you never called me even once."
He then looked at the burly, silent man on the other side and took the initiative to greet him. "Hello, Tian Zhengguang. We meet again. Starting today, we're teammates."
Fan Xiaoxian stood frozen in place.

Wang Chao was more proactive than Fan Xiaoxian had expected. He walked over to another player resting on a chair beside the table and held out his hand. "Hello, I'm Wang Chao, a new player."
The man hurriedly stood up. He glanced at Fan Xiaoxian first, then solemnly returned the greeting. "I'm Lu Jia. I've been here for three years, so I'm an old hand. Wang Chao, thank you for still being willing to come play for Spade Q at a time like this. Let's work hard together in the new season."
Wang Chao understood immediately.
This man was probably one of the club's diehard loyalists.
His mood improved considerably, because the team atmosphere seemed good so far. At the very least, the four people currently in the room got along harmoniously.
Then what about the one who hadn't come?
Wang Chao looked at Fan Xiaoxian.
"The one who hasn't come is named Geng Shuai. He's older than all of you, already twenty-seven, and he's been with the team for five years.
