"Bring me another bottle of fruit wine."
Having just eaten and drunk his fill, Caster pulled out a dagger and picked at his yellowed teeth with its sharp tip. In a casual tone, he said to the waitress, "Put it on my tab."
The tavern waitress hesitated, then turned to look at the owner behind the counter.
The owner's expression was extremely ugly, but he still nodded.
Caster gave a sly chuckle, picked up the wine bottle drunkenly, and staggered out of the little tavern.
Watching his back disappear, the tavern owner could not help spitting on the ground. "Pah!"
Caster had originally been nothing more than a street punk, often doing filthy things like petty theft. He had been someone everyone despised.
Who would have thought that he would join the Gallo Brotherhood and suddenly start swaggering around?
The tavern owner hated him, but he did not dare do anything to Caster.
Humming a tuneless little tune, Caster swayed with every step as he made his way down the empty street.
It was already deep into the night. There were hardly any pedestrians on the road, and only a few lights still shone from the buildings lining the street. Wild dogs barked from deep, shadowy alleys, making the place sound particularly eerie.
But Lost was not afraid in the slightest. He looked up at the moon hanging high in the night sky and raised the wine bottle in his hand.
Whoosh!
In that instant, a fierce gust came whistling in. A dark blur instantly smashed the bottle in Caster's hand to pieces, then struck him squarely in the face!
Caster did not even have time to cry out. His nose and cheeks abruptly caved in, and shattered glass plunged deep into his eyes.
