Ronan took a tour around his new home.
The seaside villa stood two stories tall. The lower floor was divided into a living room, dining room, kitchen, and guest bedroom.
There was also a bathroom.
What delighted Ronan was that the house had a complete drainage system. The bathroom had running water pipes and a flush toilet—truly clean and hygienic.
The water came from a rooftop collection system, fitted with a tank that stored and filtered rainwater. It was quite cleverly designed.
The area around Rand City received rain all year round, especially during summer, when the weather was changeable and storms were frequent. Under normal use, there was no need to worry about the tank running dry.

The upper floor of the villa had three bedrooms, a study, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. The decor could not be called luxurious, and the former owner had taken away all the displayed artworks and such, leaving behind only some bulky furniture.
But the decor carried a strong Invia style and looked quite nice.
Ronan felt that buying this house for 315 gold pounds had truly been a bargain.
Calling it a lucky steal would not have been an exaggeration.
Aside from the two floors above ground, the villa also had a fairly spacious basement below.
Ronan went down to take a look as well.
The basement was completely empty, with only a few wine racks standing there. It had presumably once been used as a wine cellar.
Yet here, he could clearly sense a sinister aura filling the place.
The aura was deep and clammy. Though it could not be seen or touched, anyone within
