In the cabin corridors of the Blue Star passenger liner, hurried footsteps came in wave after wave as armed sailors pounded on doors and warned the passengers inside.
The atmosphere aboard the massive ship had become tense to the extreme.
At that moment, Ronan opened his cabin door and stepped into the corridor.
His action immediately caught a sailor's attention. The latter strode over, frowned, and said in a low voice, "Sir, please return inside. It is very dangerous out here."
As an armed sailor on a passenger liner, what annoyed him most were passengers who still acted self-righteously in the face of danger.
