Entering the City

The autumn air was crisp, and the sky stretched clear for miles.

This was Wang Chen's first time setting foot in Thousand Stars Immortal City.

Unlike Yongle Immortal City, Thousand Stars Immortal City did not prohibit flight. Cultivators were allowed to use flying Magic Tools to enter and leave the city.

But once inside, distinctions applied.

D-class citizens could only travel on the streets. Grade C citizens could fly freely below ten zhang. Class B citizens were limited to fifty zhang, while Class A citizens faced no restrictions at all.

Moreover, flight was limited to personal Magic Tools, with one companion permitted aboard. Large flying Magic Tools such as flying boats, flying ships, and Flying Ships required travel authorization.

Although Wang Chen had obtained Class B citizen status, he did not bring Su Ziling flying ostentatiously through the city after entering. Instead, he walked through the Marketplace, taking in the splendor of this City of Merchants.

Thousand Stars Immortal City was truly extraordinary.

It completely overturned Wang Chen's fixed impression of immortal cities in the Haotian Realm. For instance, towering buildings lined both sides of the streets, one after another. The shortest rose more than ten stories high, while the tallest exceeded a hundred zhang.

Moreover, the Bixi supporting the immortal city had a turtle shell that rose high upward, gradually transitioning from its lowest edges to the central peak, with a considerable difference in elevation.

Thousand Stars Immortal City had no city walls. One could enter it from any direction.

The buildings within the city were too numerous to count, like an enormous forest. No two structures were exactly alike; each bore greater or lesser differences, and some possessed a distinctive character all their own.

Walking through it felt like entering a forest maze.

That feeling made Wang Chen
