Wang Chen settled down in Qinglan Small Valley.
The valley covered only twenty or thirty mu. Rolling green mountains surrounded it on all sides, and apart from a waterfall and a pool, the small valley was filled with all manner of exotic flowers and rare herbs, making for an exceptionally elegant setting.
Beside the pool stood a thatched cottage. Though very simple, it was clean and tidy.
Although the time had come, Wang Chen did not rush to condense his core.
He had only just returned in spirit from the Mist Mountain Realm. After more than a decade of trials in the lower realm, he had developed a faint sense of unfamiliarity toward the Haotian Realm.
This included the primary cultivation technique he practiced.
If he did not eliminate it, it could very well become an obstacle during the core-condensation process.
Wang Chen wanted to condense a top three grades of Golden Core, so there could not be the slightest error or flaw!
Thus, in the days that followed, Wang Chen rose early every morning and climbed the tallest nearby peak to absorb the first wisp of purple qi at dawn.
Afterward, he sat on a rock beside the pool and refined his Mana bit by bit.
Although his cultivation could advance no further, this practice gradually raised his condition to its peak.
In the afternoons, Wang Chen went to the Library Pavilion to read.
Green Hill's Library Pavilion stood atop a mountain near Qinglan Small Valley. It had seven floors in total, housing Daoist books, manuals, and all kinds of classics of different ranks.
Interestingly, no one guarded the Library Pavilion. Though powerful restrictions had been placed around it, Wang Chen could come and go freely.
It felt as though this Library Pavilion had been built specifically for him.
