Wang Chen uncovered the dangers and opportunities of the Demon Cave, growing stronger as he hunted evil spirits at the North Sha Eye. When Sima Changming and True Person Ye tried to seize his treasures, Wang Chen lured Ye into the Sha Eye’s core and gained the upper hand in their fight.
Wang Chen killed True Person Ye, refined an Outer Core, and began building a life and career in Yongle Immortal City while secretly pursuing his Golden Core materials. After a year in a quiet library post, he set out for Manglong Mountain and met a Demon Race cultivator at an abandoned farmstead.
Wang Chen escaped the Mountain Moving Sect’s assault on Yongle Immortal City and made his way to Thousand Stars Immortal City. There, he secured a Class B registration, freed Su Ziling from her father’s debts, and rented a storefront residence.
Wang Chen opened a shop, traveled to Green Hill for Seven-Leaf Black Ginseng, and was sent into a dangerous small world with Hu Jiaojiao to retrieve the Mysterious Fox Token. Trapped as Chen Ergou with his memories restored, he began cultivating the Heavenly Dragon Vajra Righteous Dharma to survive and find Hu Jiaojiao.
Wang Chen left Little Stone Village for Red Cliff City, joined Hongyi Martial Arts School, and rose to Houtian while preparing for the Martial Arts School Competition. Hunting in North Mountain, he met Old Yao, learned the truth about the Wuji Mirror, and took responsibility for sustaining Old Yao’s spirit as he neared the Innate realm.
Wang Chen became Red Cliff City Lord after defeating Zhao Zhenxuan, then passed the city to Shao Hongcheng and left with Hu Jiaojiao to search for the Mysterious Fox Token. In Taiwu City, an influential man tried to take Hu Jiaojiao, and Wang Chen faced his armed followers.
Wang Chen recovered Old Yao’s treasure, helped Hu Jiaojiao transform, and joined the Azure Cloud Alliance while searching for the Mysterious Fox Token. He built a charitable clinic and academy, defeated Ji Yun’s beast attack, and prepared to meet a visitor from Azure Cloud Palace.
Wang Chen defied Azure Cloud Palace, built Chang’an City, survived betrayal and a dragon attack, then destroyed the palace before ascending. In the Haotian Realm, he settled in Qinglan Small Valley and formed a top-grade Golden Core.
After rejecting the Wang Clan and Lu Family’s offers, Wang Chen settled with Su Ziling in a hidden valley and built his strength through cultivation, combat, and artifact refining. He left Lingyou City after True Person Jingyun stopped her nephew from claiming Su Ziling, and Jingyun imprisoned the nephew when he threatened to defy the family.
Wang Chen activated the Teleportation Array and entered the Cangqing Realm in Ling Zhiyuan’s body, taking on the duty of avenging Ling Zhiyuan’s father and teacher. After surviving bounty hunters and reaching Jiangyuan City, he presented Zhang Weiran’s token to apply to the Metropolitan Guard Bureau, where a gate guard questioned its origin.

Wang Chen uncovered a demon scheme in Guangping, then advanced his cultivation and fought his way through the Hundred Thousand Great Mountains. After reaching Great Ye and settling a dispute with Medicine King Manor, he met Emperor Shaowu, who granted him three days in the Imperial Library Pavilion.
Wang Chen became Princess Qingyun’s master, advanced to Martial Saint, and took up the post of Imperial Envoy of Marriage. While escorting her to Great Yan, he defeated the White Wolf Bandits, and Qingyun asked him to help her escape her arranged marriage.
