The saber sensed that an unseen existence had blocked its growth and revealed that the being was far to the south, somewhere in the Holy Spirit Mountain Realm.

• Si Xianxian’s hammer strike blasted apart many Qiansi Ying and drove the survivors retreating into the gorge, where Lu Ran’s group hunted down the remaining enemies.
• Yu Changsheng helped Si Xianxian recognize that her desire to fulfill the Sect Leader’s task and become more useful could fuel her fighting spirit.
• Lu Ran collected the Qiansi Ying souls, then drove the Eight Desolates Saber into the earth and discovered that the saber’s desire centered on destroying a whole area.

Shangguan then revealed he had seen a Chenying Disciple who might be Qin Yanzhi, giving Lu Ran an unexpected lead.

• Lang Ziyi protected the gathered Weak God Disciples with Brilliant Fire Cage while the mysterious force finished clearing Wolf Flower Village.
