Rayleigh's expression suddenly turned grave. Conqueror's Haki crashed down, cutting off Yun Ye's next words. Then he charged straight at Yun Ye, his gaze icy. "What do you know?"
Yun Ye remained where he stood and smiled faintly. "Don't worry. I bear no ill will toward that little guy."
The phrase "little guy" had been used rather cleverly...
Rayleigh stopped ten meters away from Yun Ye, narrowing his eyes as he stared directly at him.
In a voice only the two of them could hear, Yun Ye said, "East Blue. Garp."
Upon hearing this, Rayleigh took a deep breath. "Although I don't know where you got your information, or what your connection to Roger is..."
"Still, I'm a remnant of the previous era. I'm only stepping in this time because you seem to have some connection to Roger. I can help you hold Kizaru back for a while."
Yun Ye snapped his fingers. "Naturally. Old senior, all you need to do is hold Kizaru back!"
"Hey, hey, do you think I can't hear you? Rayleigh, so you really are connected to this Quincy?" Kizaru's face darkened again.
Rayleigh snorted coldly. "I've been staying in Sabaody for many years. If I wanted to make a move against those idiots, I would have done it long ago!"
"That's no excuse," Kizaru said.
"Enough nonsense. Let me see how much you've improved over the years, Borsalino!" With that, Rayleigh charged forward with his sword.
"You'll be considered an accomplice in this incident." Kizaru did not dare lower his guard. It was not as though the two had never fought before. Back then, he had only been a Vice Admiral and could barely withstand Rayleigh's attacks!
But times had changed. He had already ascended to the peak, while Rayleigh had stepped down from it!
