Aokiji's ice was even colder than Hyōrinmaru, which could currently only remain in its Shikai state. Even Kaido did not dare underestimate it.
Even if he would not be completely frozen, the cold would still slow his body's reactions.
Yun Ye's Hyōrinmaru could actually inflict the same effect on Kaido, though not nearly as noticeably as Aokiji's did now.
"Heat Breath!" Kaido opened his mouth and spewed fiery energy, dispersing the chill beneath the ground!
However, on the other side, Yun Ye swung his sword, and ice spikes once again spread across the ground and shot toward him.
"Brat!" Kaido abruptly turned around. Armament Haki spread across the sole of his foot as he stomped down hard. A circular shockwave utterly shattered the ice spikes and surged back toward Yun Ye!
Yun Ye flashed away. With a flick of Silver Fiber, a lifelike ice dragon charged at Kaido once more!
At the same time, frost gathered around Aokiji, and five long spears appeared. At his gesture, they shot out together.
The two attacks came one after the other, striking from different directions.
"Useless!" Kaido roared, swinging his spiked club to shatter the ice spears. His tail then lashed out like a whip, smashing the ice dragon into fragments!
