Today, Sengoku was once again handling documents sent in from various places in his office.
The unrest in the New World had yet to subside; if anything, it felt as though a storm was brewing.
Several Great Pirates had clashed with one another, and the Navy's informants sent back reports at regular intervals.
Even Sengoku, the Fleet Admiral overseeing the entire situation, could barely keep up. Furious, he could not help cursing, "Those damn pirates!"
Just then, a Navy soldier hurried in and leaned close to whisper a few words to Sengoku.
After hearing the soldier's report, Sengoku slammed both hands onto the desk with a bang and shot to his feet. "Is what you said true?"
His sudden movement even startled the goat beside him that had been chewing on documents. What it had been chewing fell to the floor. Its ears twitched as it looked around, and only after finding no danger did it lower its head and resume eating.
The soldier's tone turned grave as well. "Yes, Fleet Admiral Sengoku. This information was sent back from G7 Branch Base!"
"Show me the detailed report!"
"Yes!"
Sengoku sat back down and carefully read through the document the soldier handed him. His expression darkened and shifted as he muttered, "How is this possible? No matter how terrifying his talent and potential are, he defeated Drought Jack at that age? And an ice-type ability... he ate a Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit..."
Then Sengoku abruptly looked up and ordered the soldier, "Notify every officer at headquarters ranked Vice Admiral and above. Have them convene in the meeting room!"
"Yes!" The soldier acknowledged the order and withdrew.
Left alone in his office, Sengoku frowned deeply. His index finger tapped rhythmically against the desk as a headache came on.
