King of the Dark World?
Thoughts flashed through Yun Ye's mind, but his hands never stopped. He raised a palm, and Pale Scorching Flame blasted forth, engulfing everyone.
As explosions rang out, severed limbs flew everywhere!
Yun Ye naturally knew what the Kings of the Dark World were.
They were underground powers hidden beneath the surface, each a major figure who controlled resources in a particular domain.
As the leader of an industry, their influence was so great that even the Marines dared not underestimate them!
Though they certainly could not compare to those Great Pirates, their fearsome reputations were enough to make children stop crying.
Yun Ye did not remember much about these Kings of the Dark World.
He only vaguely knew of a few of them and did not even know what they looked like.
The only ones he was somewhat familiar with were that bird from the World Economic Journal and a certain Shichibukai!
I wonder which one they're talking about?
Yun Ye chuckled. Rather than feeling afraid, he found it interesting.
Then Yun Ye looked in a certain direction. The captain of the Evil Ghost Pirate Crew had seen that things were going badly and was trying to slip away, but Yun Ye's senses had discovered him.
Yun Ye vanished from where he stood. After taking several steps, he had already appeared in front of Evil Ghost. Looking at this audacious fellow, Yun Ye smiled faintly. "Where do you think you're running off to?"
Evil Ghost abruptly stopped, staring at Yun Ye in horror. Trembling, he said, "You can't kill me! There's also a King of the Dark World behind me. I came here after accepting their mission. If you dare kill me, you won't just be offending one King of the Dark World!"
"Heh..." Yun Ye gave a low laugh. "Do you think I'd believe that? And even if it's true, so what? Those people earlier also said someone was backing them. Look at what happened to them now."

The speaker was a young man at the front of the group. He stood nearly two meters tall, with a sword at his waist and a red cloak draped over his back. He also wore a hat embroidered with a skull. He looked at Yun Ye and grinned.
When Evil Ghost saw him, it was as though he had seen his savior, and a look of great joy appeared on his face.
Clearly, he knew this young man!
Yun Ye raised a hand, and White Lightning shot forth, striking Evil Ghost directly in the head and piercing through it. The joyous expression on Evil Ghost's face froze before the life faded from his eyes...
Without even looking at him, Yun Ye said indifferently, "Say that again. I didn't hear you clearly."
The young man's face immediately darkened at the sight. He said coldly, "Are you looking to die?"
"All you ever talk about is death. If you want to die, who the hell do you think you are?" Yun Ye had no patience for these people's bad habits. He raised a hand, and Explosive Flame surged out, sweeping all of them into its range!
"What arrogance!"
The young man snorted coldly, drew his sword, and slashed forward. The force of his blade stirred the air as a slash shot toward Yun Ye's Explosive Flame.
Boom!
The two attacks collided in midair, erupting into a powerful gust that scattered in every direction!
"Looks like you have no idea what the Kings of the Dark World represent. Let me explain it to you!"
After blocking Yun Ye's attack with a single slash, the young man looked at him, raised his chin, and said arrogantly, "Perhaps you don't know this, but these people control the underground forces of the New World. Every one of them is a renowned and influential figure!"

He instantly arrived before Barlofiya. Something behind his back pulsed with a buzz, white lightning emerged, and the clothes around Yun Ye's shoulders burst apart. In an instant, Yun Ye's aura became violently ferocious!
Boom!
Yun Ye threw a punch. Ripples seemed to appear in the air before him, followed by an utterly terrifying shockwave that swept forward and kicked up sand and dust!
However, this group was clearly much stronger than the Dia Mafia. Faced with Yun Ye's attack, they all made their moves at once and blocked it together!
"Get them!"
Barlofiya shouted as he charged at Yun Ye with his sword in hand!

Yun Ye wanted to pursue him, but someone among the group fired a cannon at him.
Yun Ye sensed it and flashed away.
An explosion erupted below with a boom.
In midair, Yun Ye's expression turned cold. He raised a hand, and Explosive Flame swept downward before exploding violently, sending more than a dozen people flying.
