Li Xiao established the Ascending Heaven Pavilion in a secluded lakeside gorge in the eastern Beast Mountain Range. The System manifested the structure in a burst of golden light, after which Li Xiao gave the previously blank plaque its name. Linglong was assigned to handle internal affairs, while Niu Meng took responsibility for external matters and enforcement. 2

Its first auctions drew major figures from the Jia Ma Empire, including Yun Yun, Gu He, Jia Xingtian, and other Dou Huang experts. The Pavilion rapidly cultivated an image of overwhelming and difficult-to-measure power through its guards, rare goods, and strict rules. 8 20 21

The original Ascending Heaven Pavilion is a massive six-story pagoda-like structure with an imposing, sacred aura. Every floor is densely carved with runes, and the building's presence frightens nearby birds and magical beasts. 2 62
