Mister Iron Hand raised his massive iron hand and scratched his chin after hearing Fan Lang's words. "I've seen footage of that cube. It truly is an extraordinary masterpiece of mechanisms, and it must have quite a history. Its craftsmanship surpasses my abilities. It looks like a mechanical city."
"I'm determined to get that thing. I'll find an opportunity to take people inside and explore it," said Fan Lang.
"This will be quite challenging. Cracking someone else's mechanisms is a pleasure. I'll consider going in with you."
"Good. Then thank you in advance, Senior."
The fleet flew away, heading roughly toward the Phoenix Lyre Star System.
Before going to the Phoenix Lyre Star System, Fan Lang still needed to find Lu Qingqing and bring this Star Sea Divine Constable along. Lu Qingqing was an indispensable key to gaining control of that cube.
The fleet traveled without much pause along the way, moving at tremendous speed and covering many light-years every Universe Day.
During the journey, Mister Iron Hand and his fellow mechanists gradually proved their worth by modifying and reinforcing Fan Lang's starships, with particular emphasis on the Tyrant Heaven, which Fan Lang favored.
Starship modification was a bottomless pit. As long as one was willing to throw money into it, the upgrades could continue indefinitely. Many starships had risen in rank this way; after enough modifications, they became higher-grade starships.
That day, the fleet arrived at a planet called Crystal Star. The entire planet was one enormous crystal, an exceptionally spectacular sight.
Crystal Star was a typical mining planet, capable of forming all kinds of crystal-type minerals. Everyone on the planet made their living from them.
Visitors could come here to purchase whatever crystal-type minerals they needed.
Fan Lang had little interest in Crystal Star and had no ores
