Every time they met Fan Lang, the two of them had to bow their heads. This time was no exception. To invite Fan Lang, they had said all sorts of flattering things.
This invitation gave Fan Lang pause. The "divine tree" suddenly wanted to see him—there might be some kind of scheme behind it.
With the Bloodthirsty Treant's strength, Fan Lang definitely could not handle it alone. Going to the meeting by himself would be extremely dangerous. This was completely different from the previous banquet.
If he went to war directly, though, it was still too early. Greenery Star's people had yet to begin evacuating. Once fighting broke out, countless lives would be lost.
Fan Lang weighed his options and made the safest decision.
"Fine. I'll split off an incarnation and have it go with you to meet that divine tree," Fan Lang agreed.
"An incarnation?" Emperor Star Lord was stunned.
"We're only having a chat. An incarnation should be enough."
"The divine tree is the mother of all life on Greenery Star. It has nurtured countless living beings, and its status is even higher than ours. Sending only an incarnation to meet it would be somewhat disrespectful. We ask that you come in person, my lord."
"Bullshit!" Fan Lang's expression changed instantly as he berated them. "That's your divine tree, not mine. Sending an incarnation to meet it is already giving it far more face than it deserves. Don't push your luck."
Emperor Star Lord's expression changed as well. Fury surged in his heart, but he did not dare vent it and could only apologize. "Please calm your anger, my lord. I misspoke. An incarnation it is."
Fan Lang snorted coldly and split into two. Another him appeared beside him, almost identical except for the difference in clothing.
His
