Listening to the voice coming from the stone stele, Fen Jitian was furious beyond measure. He had not felt this way in many years.
"Fan Lang, I have to kill you! Not only will I kill you, I'll kill all your friends and family too, and wipe out your homeland along with them!"
Fen Jitian flew into a rage and searched everywhere for Fan Lang's trail, but he could no longer find any useful clues. Then it occurred to him that Fan Lang could not possibly abandon his starship, so he simply opened a passage leading to where the Nether Dragon was located.
Previously, he had used the Giant Beast Head to attack Fan Lang without showing himself because he had certain misgivings. Now, those misgivings had vanished completely.
Fen Jitian passed through the passage and descended menacingly upon the Nether Dragon's location. Without another word, he launched a fierce attack.
The Nether Dragon was struck, as though a reflection in water had been shattered. Its surface flickered violently several times before it vanished.
There had only been a fake Nether Dragon here. The real one had long since disappeared, and Fen Jitian had come up empty-handed again.
With nowhere to vent his anger, Fen Jitian was naturally unwilling to give up. He continued searching for Fan Lang's whereabouts before vanishing into thin air.
