The poor-class students rushed up to the Purple Mist Poison Barrier. The eerie purple grew ever denser, giving off a chokingly strange fragrance.

Simply smelling the poison barrier or getting it on their skin was not a serious problem.

What they had to fear was the poison barrier entering their bodies. Once it touched blood, the toxic mist would swiftly invade their bodies, corrode their hearts, and kill them.

If they wanted to cross this place alive, they absolutely could not be injured! Even the tiniest wound could cost them their lives!

"Everyone, keep your defensive measures ready. Try to move as fast as possible, but under no circumstances fall behind!"

The class leader gave one final reminder. Before the words had even faded, the group charged into the Purple Mist Poison Barrier, making the fog churn violently.

The poison barrier obscured their vision, turning everything around them into a hazy violet expanse.

Rustle, rustle, rustle...

Moth-shaped shadows darted through the poison barrier, their wings fluttering. These were Human-Faced Demon Moths, and the purple toxic fog around them had all been released by them.

A single Human-Faced Demon Moth was nothing much, but a swarm was another matter entirely.

Besides releasing poisonous fog, Human-Faced Demon Moths possessed some offensive ability. At high speed, they could slash with their wings, sending out razor-sharp cold glints.

The attacks came swiftly.

Countless Human-Faced Demon Moths flew through the poison barrier, seeking openings to attack the poor-class students, only to be blocked by all manner of defensive measures.
