A Timeless Enigma

Despite so many Dragon Corpses volunteering themselves, Fan Lang ignored them all, because he had other plans.

The group wandered around the Dragon Shrine for a while, then left.

Feeling that the time was ripe, Fan Lang took the initiative and said, "I heard that the Long Family has an unsolved enigma that has remained unanswered for a thousand years. I'm very interested in it. Could the Old Clan Leader let me take a look?"

"Of course. Come with me. But let me make this clear first: that place is somewhat dangerous. You must do as I say and not act rashly," the Old Clan Leader readily agreed.

Led by the Old Clan Leader, the group headed toward the place where the enigma was located.

Legend had it that the Long Family possessed an enigma left behind by an ancestor. Whoever solved it would obtain the inheritance that ancestor had left behind.

This enigma was shrouded in mystery, and no one had managed to solve it to this day.

This was Fan Lang's true objective in coming here!

Those manuals and Dragon Corpses meant little to him. This enigma was what truly mattered.

He wanted to solve this so-called timeless enigma with his own hands.

The Old Clan Leader had no idea of Fan Lang's ambitions. Thinking Fan Lang merely wanted to have a look, he casually led Fan Lang and the others toward the enigma.

"That enigma is a stone wall with ninety-nine snakes carved upon it. Looking at the wall with your eyes is harmless, but if you probe it with your divine sense, your divine sense will be forcibly sucked inside.
