"My humble self has indeed been waiting for you for quite some time." Phoenix Woman rose gracefully, her figure alluring in every way, and stepped down from the bed to greet Fan Lang.

Before the civil and military officials and the common people, she called herself "We." Before Fan Lang, however, she called herself "your humble servant," setting aside her pride.

"You look beautiful tonight," Fan Lang praised.

"A woman adorns herself for the one who appreciates her. All my beauty is for you," Phoenix Woman said softly.

"That voice, that gentleness—it could melt steel." Fan Lang grinned, swept Phoenix Woman into his arms, then soared lightly into the air and landed on the bed. Their shoes had already been neatly placed beside it.

In the Empress's Bedroom, with a lone man and woman, dry wood and raging fire, anyone could guess what would happen next.

The two gazed at each other, their eyes entwining. Phoenix Woman slightly raised her face, her curved lashes gently lowering as she offered up her vermilion lips.

Fan Lang tenderly plucked the flower, savoring this primal pleasure.

The red candles beside the bed flickered, casting the shadows of their entwined bodies onto the wall. The two shadows slowly fell over until they lay upon the bed.

Tonight brought another "Dragon and Phoenix Auspiciousness."

After Fan Lang returned to the Great Wan Kingdom, he stayed for several days. He was busy during the day and busy at night, but he enjoyed it all.

He settled the Chaos Star Palace within the imperial city of the Great Wan Kingdom, opened several entrances and exits, and handed part of its control to Hou Guangzu. Most of the control, however, remained in his own hands.

This was in case of unforeseen circumstances. Fan Lang's spiritual imprint was
